painter

draped in my smock
paint brush in hand
i boldly depict hope
splashing colour on drudgery

stripped of my smock
bared of my brush
i am nothing but a blank canvas
longing to be used

I love how the canvas sounds so grungy compared to the colors-it's a really cool contrast. Especially since canvas is white, just makes the color sound even more necessary, loove it

C.S. Lewis talks about how in heaven we might be able to see sound waves or other things invisible on earth as swirling colours in heaven. it's a beautiful picture he paints. and an even more beautiful one God is painting on you in His invisible colours - He who makes all things beautiful in their time.
